... seeking is the operative word... Costa del Sol, not so much this week! It’s been cold (13-15 C!) and windy and we’ve had two rainy days to boot. Last year at the same time of year in the very same place, we basked in the sunshine on the beach.
I booked the place we’re staying because it was cheap, looked nice, and was a flight/transfer/hotel package which just made things easier to manage with the in-laws; of course I had no way of knowing what the weather would be like, and it just so happens that this hotel has a fantastic children’s club, mini disco at night which the kids love, indoor pool and spa (indoor pool is rare here at the Costa del Sol because it’s usually nice year round!) - so we could not be happier with our choice.
Sure it would be nicer if we could hang out at the beach, but things could be a whole lot worse if all we had was a hotel room to be in.
Here's a selection of photos of our time here!

A Butterfly Sanctuary
It's the Costa del Sol: everything is outdoors! The one indoor attraction we could find was this Buterfly Sanctuary, which was amazing. Butterflies landed on us, and twice D(6) got a butterfly egg laid on him!

At the Park
We had discovered this park last year when we met my sister here - it's got playgrounds, a cactus park, lots of animals including rabbits and chickens, and climbable trees! It was bearable and not too windy further back from the beach front, so we had a nice time.
And finally…. the boy’s had a makeover!!
