Vienna, day 9: play & spa

Today we went to a playgroup we'd been to once before and actually managed to exchange a few pleasantries with a few people. Getting there!

Kids of course had fun.

This afternoon there was a kids go free special (normally €15!!!) at the spa I remember from my childhood, and we decided to go. It's had a bit of an overhaul!

Vienna and south of the city is on a geological fault line which means there's scores of natural hot springs (similar to Bath spa). So spas are everywhere. But they're on a different scale to what's on offer in the UK ... again I didn't take any pictures inside but we made our way through three indoor/ outdoor pools, tried two Jacuzzis, and played in a lovely toddler pool. And there were several pools we didn't even get to. The kids loved almost every minute.... except the one when N ran straight into a handrail that was at her eye level. Ouch.

But, here are some pictures of the gorgeous Oberlaa spa.
